PRESENTATION TOPIC: Pulsed Eddy Current
PRESENTATION OVERVIEW:
The most brutal enemy we face is corrosion. With most of our infrastructure being constructed from carbon steel, the cost associated with our front-line battle to inspect our critical assets is enormous. If we can utilize a tool such as Pulsed Eddy Current to help us make more informed decisions, the cost savings will be exponential. We can then allocate resources to other critical areas versus wasting it in stripping insulation to only find it was unnecessary. The Lyft from Eddyfi Technologies allows the user to inspect assets rapidly, identifying if and where areas of corrosion are present, helping asset owners make better decisions when it relates to stripping and repairs. All this can be done with no environmental or safety concerns as is experienced with other methodologies.
